Since its founding in 2012, the Potomac Center has received generous funding from the departments of Anthropology, Art History & Archaeology, English, History, Sociology, and Women’s Studies at the University of Maryland, as well as from the College of Arts & Humanities. Crucial in-kind support has also been provided by Art History & Archaeology at the University of Maryland, the Corcoran Gallery of Art, the George Washington University, the Smithsonian Institution, and the University of Maryland Center for Art and Knowledge at the Phillips Collection.
